+ NETWARCOM IT Capability Planning:DOT has successfully completed a subcontract to Computer Science Corporation to support the U.S. Naval Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM)'s Cyber Asset Reduction and Security (CARS) Task Force. The task force's mission is to improve the Navy's IT capabilities in the areas of security, interoperability, and return on investment by reducing the Navy's short-based IT Secret and below footprint, gain total visibility of the Navy's IT assets and resources, and align Navy-wide IT resources with mission requirements. + NATO Capability Planning:DOT successfully completed a subcontract to Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc to support NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) in the development of the Alliance’s Mid-Term Plans (5-6 year plans) and related capability audits for the development of NATO Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities. Such capability development increasingly reflects NATO’s long-term commitment to transition to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and NATO Network Enabled Capability (NNEC). Development of these Mid-Term Plans adds coherence across many programmes, agencies, activities and investments of many billions of Euros to achieve incremental delivery of new capability baselines across the DOTMLPFI spectrum.
